Formax Vice President of Sales Recognized by USPS for Leadership in Postal Customer Council

Dover, NH June '09: Eric Flinton, Vice President of Sales for Formax, received an award from the US Postal Service in recognition of his work with the NH Postal Customer Council. Flinton is one of six PCC members from the northeast region to be honored at the National Postal Forum, held recently in Washington, DC. Honorees were commended on their efforts to develop and expand their respective Postal Customer Councils.

Flinton has been a member of the NH PCC Executive Board for the past 6 years, most recently serving three years as Industry Co-Chair.

Postal Customer Councils were developed in the mid 1960s, and today more than 250 councils with 150,000 members are active across the nation. Through regular meetings, mailer clinics, and seminars, PCC members keep up-to-date with the latest postal developments and work closely with local post offices to make mail service more efficient. The PCC also serves as a forum for its members to exchange revenue-generating and cost-saving ideas, as well as suggestions for new Postal Service products and services.
